How do you use the Finnish sauna?
Always shower before entering the sauna to remove the bothersome film of oil from your skin. Dry yourself thoroughly before entering the sauna.
Shower after the sauna.
As a general guideline for health: One to two sauna sessions per week, each consisting of three 15-minute intervals, is sufficient and should not be less. More frequent use is not beneficial, but not necessarily harmful either.
Rest & Relaxation
During breaks in the sauna, the body can slowly cool down and enter a relaxed state. This is best achieved by lying down on a comfortable bench and enjoying the silence.
